Due to the idiot spammers that keep posting on these forums I've decided to make it so that folks have to register first before they are able to post or reply to messages. Sorry about that (but its not like the forum is a hive of activity anyway ).

That's the way it goes Kris I'm afraid. Even the comments section on my rules blog has had to be locked so I have to approve comment s now (except for regular posters). Never mind... Anyhoo, when are you going to add to your excellent collection for floorplans and settings? You have a lot of fans out here just waiting for the next good thing Craig.

Oh he's so modest As I regularly run a city-based campaign the sewers are a welcome addition to your range. I shall cut and paste them a bit to create more variety. Cheers, Craig.

The Warseer link is interesting, you are a far better painter than I. My speciality, as such, is rules-writing. You can find my stuff here if you are interested: thegamesshed.wordpress.com. I won't be offended if you delete the link as I am never sure if it is polite to blow your own trumpet on someone else's board Craig.

I won't be offended if you delete the link as I am never sure if it is polite to blow your own trumpet on someone else's board I really don't mind what people post so long as it is somewhat related to gaming (it's just the spam 'Miami Personal Escorts' and the like that I took offence to ). If you want to post here when you update your blog/site then feel free to do so. Anyway, I was looking over 'Dungeoneer' and it kinda takes me back to the days when my brother used to run the HeroQuest game for me (which is not a bad thing ). I've also taken a brief look at 'The Third Age' ...but for some reason some of the characters are not displaying right on my computer (though that just might be my computer) :S

Yup, the Heroquest feel was what I was going for. Part of the luring my son over to the dungeon-side... As for The Third Age, strange that. Are you using a Mac or a PC? I used a 10pt font called 'Sylfaen' which I understand to be part of the standard MS Word package. If you continue to have problems I can do a convert over to Arial or Times New Roman and post that if you wish. Craig.

Are you using a Mac or a PC? PC (windows XP) Here's a screen print: i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/csp_kris/thirdage.jpgThough if I open the document in Lotus WordPro I can read everything OK ...but I loose some of the formatting (which isn't much of a problem). So if no-one else has had issues with it, it may just be my own computer acting weird

How very odd... Being a bit of a luddite I cannot think why that is happening.
I have just opened The Games Shed, downloaded the copy held there and opened it in Word with no formatting or reading issues. Are you using the most recent version of Word because I think mine is the one before that?
I am also on Windows Vista Home version, though I thought that the two versions did not affect the Office packages at all.
Chalk another on up to Mr.Gates methinks.

Sadly, I don't use (Microsoft) Word, so that might be the issue. By default it opens in wordpad (which is what the screenprint above is taken from), but as I say I can open it in (Lotus) WordPro - so not to worry. Though, have you ever thought of making stuff like that available as a pdf instead? (just wondering is all ).

Oh by the way I have put a link on my blog in the introduction to the Dungeoneer rules to CSP. Between you, Dream Weaved Worlds and One Monk who needs expensive floorplans and figures, when you guys can provide it all

I have and I'm looking for a decent pdf converter. Do you know of one? Not really. I'm still using 'adobe acrobat 5' which I purchased a long time ago - but it still works, so I'm in no hurry to upgrade Also - thanks for the link Maybe if you decide to write an adventure in the future (that you intend of putting online) that needs a specific 'quest room' style tile that is within my (limited) capabilities to draw, let me know and I'll see if I can put something together.

'limited'?
Kris, you have a distinct style that many of us old-schoolers really like. It is clean and has precisely enough detail to help us transport our players from reality to fantasy (without bankrupting us through the overuse of the colour ink cartridge).
I am working on trying to create a fold-up system to produce modular 3D corridors and chambers. I am using your tiles as the basis for this and will let you see it once I have a workable solution.
Craig.
