Hello again All the stuff on the website has been drawn with graphics software rather than a dedicated dungeon mapper or anything like that. For the most part I will draw all the basic shapes using vector graphics software (usually Greenstreet Draw4, but occasionally Adobe Illustrator), and then I'll add details, shading, textures, etc., in photoshop. For example, the original 'vector graphic' image might look something like this: And the finished 'photoshop' version would look something like this: I hope that helps.

Would inkscape work for creating the vector drawing?

I've never actually used inkscape myself, but from what I have seen of it, it looks very much like the 'draw4' software that I use myself.
I keep meaning to try out inkscape ...but I guess I'm a little stuck in my ways (though I will get around to it eventually).
So yeah, you could get free software to do something very similar to the above ...using inkscape for the vector graphics and perhaps something like G.I.M.P. to do the photoshop-type stuff.
(I do keep threatening to try that myself, and post a tutorial - so that anyone could have a go at drawing some tiles using only free software)
