I have posted the above maps at the same scale as the 35 pixel modular dungeon (just for my own convenience really) but they use slightly different styles and patterns. The main reason I drew them slightly different was because I can churn them out quicker this way - but by doing so, it meant that they'd not match the patterns on the 35 pixel modular dungeons (so I don't think I'll be adding them to that - as it would take much rework). But once they are all done I might create a new page for them on the website ...and the reason I tried blowing one up to battlemat scale was to see if would be worth including that in the download too (i.e. page one containing the small map, and the following six pages containing the battlematt). As I said, I know they'll not look all that great at battlematt scale, but I'm thinking that folks will generally only use the map once or twice - so having something you can print off in black & white 'draft quality' (so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg in printer ink or glossy paper) that still looks better than pen lines on a vinyl matt, might be a nice option (especially considering the fact that if I do do this, that will be over 8ft x 10ft of battlematt scale dungeon ). And regarding submitting layouts created using some of the existing maps ...perhaps I should set up a dedicated section of the forum for just that

Aah! Now I understand Thanks for the heads-up Kris. I shall save the sets together on my hard drive (in the CSP Folder) and try to remember not to try and combine them. I have had a box full of your original stuff mounted on 5mm foam board from way back when CSP first arrived on EN World, and they have proved their worth time and again. I combined them with all the scenery pieces from the Heroquest series to make a very satisfying set for D&D.

i are in ur forum stealings ur floorplans Craig mentioned there was a forum and a 'dungeon a day' going on so I've popped over for a look. I've admired your stuff for some time so it's nice to know there's still going to be new stuff appearing. I've recently had my interest in dungeoneering reawakened thanks to Craig's rules (and now others I've found) so I'll be hanging around for a bit looking for more inspiration, hope you don't mind edit: this is me: www.matakishi.com

When will this truly superhuman effort end? Kris you are indeed a man of you word - respect, and thanks. I'm a guy who is known as being able to produce a night's gaming at no notice. The truth is that I always have a few scenarios sketched out in my back pocket. Having these maps takes out half the prep work. What I shall be doing is printing these off, one to an A4 page, and then when I'm feeling creative jotting down the descriptions and denizens on the reverse. I often have an odd hour or two in the car waiting for the kids to finish dance, swimming, scouts, cadets, rugby etc., etc. Now I have something to fill that time The resulting sheets shall be stuffed into the back of my gaming folder and voila! 31 games ready at an instant. What is even better is that they can be connected to each other with minimum effort. C'est magnifique! (I'm on a french kick at the moment...) Cheers, Craig.

Thanks for the kind words (and it's good to hear how you intend on using these maps ). Also ...here is a quick look at how I intend to format them for the website: www.enworld.org/CrookedStaffProductions/page22.html...basically the whole image on one page (with space for a key), followed by 6 pages of dungeon tiles. The current plan is to create a new map each day this month ...but the last map (on the 31st) will be a large dungeon complex showing how each of the previous 30 maps can be pieced together. ...but there is still some way to go yet

Hmmm... time to get out the laminator methinks I'll print them, add a bit of spot colour here and there with watercolour pencils (I love these as you can add a little shading and then with just a little water on a brush produce a paint effect), and then laminate as full rooms rather than the pdf layout you've been forced to adopt to do this quickly. As long as no laminate is larger than A4 I can then store them in A4 plastic sleeves in a folder. Job's a good 'un ;D Cheers Kris, Craig.
