Hello Kris, hello community
First of all, I'd like to introduce myself shortly:
My name is Kai and I'm a 30 year old hobbyist gamedesigner from Germany (Mannheim).
As I am not good at creating own graphics (only at modifying existing ones..), I always search the web for decent stuff to toy around with - and I searched almost 20 google image-search-sites until I finally found those here that meet my demands perfectly
Right now, I'm designing a dungeoncrawl game.
Ok, "designing" is propably too much boasting: I've taken the rules from a well known science fiction dungeon crawl (the one with the heavy armored super soldiers versus the four-armed aliens that steal your genes) and pasted a fantasy theme onto the mechanics and tweaked those rules here and there a bit.
Saying that only I am doing this, would be exaggeration, too, since I invited the community of the boardgamegeek site to join that projekt.
The corresponding thread can be found here:
boardgame.geekdo.com/thread/485156/community-project-a-somewhat-hulky-but-fantasyflai
So, long story short:
I just wanted to ask, whether you are fine if I distributed some of your work along with the rules?
The projekt is by no means of professional nature and I do not intend to make any money with it - I'd love to distribute the game as well as any graphics (this would include the floorplans) for free.
That is: I can't (and won't) offer any money for your efforts - sorry.
I would - however - mention CSP in the rules with a line like
"Floorplans used with friendly permission by Crooked Staff Productions (http://www.enworld.org/CrookedStaffProductions/)" and keep the logo on each page usinig the plans!
So - what do you say?
Is that ok for you?
Best regards,
Kai
